Blog 1: Responding to "Thinking Like a Mountain"

Overall, I think Leopold's essay is well written and somewhat interesting.  I find it interesting that the killing of a wolf triggers him to thinking more deeply about the world around him.  He takes meaning from this situation that he was in and makes it into something most people would have never thought of.  He changes from this experience and learns a great deal, and shares it with others and I like that about it.  For me, it does not spark any certain memories.  Although, I have been in situations where something occuring has made me feel differently about it, but I can't think of any certain instances.
