Freewrite

My favorite place in the world is the beach.  I grew up in Newport Beach, California so I've always been very familiar with it.  I've grown up listening to the waves crash into the sand and the smell of salt water on your skin when you emerge from the water.  I loved getting ice cream on the pier with my friends and family and just hanging out by the ocean on sunny days after school.  These are memories I'll never forget and I will always cherish them.  My favorite part about this place is that it hasn't changed and it never will.
